Urgent recall of fake Viagra-type drug

A fake batch of drugs that treat erectile dysfunction have found their way into pharmacies.

The packets of Cialis, which is longer lasting than Viagra, are urgently being recalled by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency. With the online market for Viagra booming, other drugs companies are manufacturing rival versions and unscrupulous chemists are making their own for sale over the internet.

Now two lots of counterfeit Cialis 20mg tablets have got into the legitimate supply chain in Britain. Initial tests show they do not pose an immediate risk but anyone who has the packets, bearing lot numbers A031410 and A041410, should return them immediately.
