ED drug manufacturers to ease aggressive AD Campaigns

Assertive advertising which includes 30 second
spots for erectile
dysfunction drugs have embarrassed many fathers who sit and
watch TV with their kids. Advertising ED drugs in between family
programs or sports hours have called for severe criticism from parents.
The ED drug manufacturing companies like Pfizer
[Viagra] and Eli Lilly [Cialis] have decided to pace their campaigns
in better slots to soothe people's fury. From now on, advertisements
of erectile dysfunction drugs will be more frequent during late
hours. They are also changing strategies to plan the ads along with
programs which have higher adult viewer ship. FDA has shown considerable
interest in the issue and is urging pharmaceutical companies to
allow them to screen the ads before they are made public.
