Counterfeit Viagra producers face prosecution

A group of producers and vendors involved in the
illegal production of counterfeit
Viagra in this capital city of central China`s Henan Province
are going to face prosecution in the near future. Wang Yinliang,
47, and six other suspects were accused of running a fake Viagra
ring. Wang and the gang are accused of selling 9.7 million fake
tablets of Viagra, made by Pfizer, between the end of 2003 and August
2005.
They’ve made a huge profit of 730,000 yuan (90,000 U.S. dollars)
from the illegal production and sales. About 580,000 pieces of fake
trademarks and packing, 10 production machines, a computer, a car,
eight banking cards and cash of more than 10,000 yuan were seized
at the site during the raid.
