New bike seat beneficial in preventing erectile dysfunction

The bicycle saddle is often associated with erectile
dysfunction. To address this problem, Competitive Technologies
Inc. has announced that it has obtained exclusive rights to a new
bicycle seat technology designed to minimize erectile dysfunction
in men as well as sexual dysfunction in women. There are numerous
studies which showed that existing bicycle seats can cause sexual
dysfunction in cyclists.
Biking could jeopardize sexual health as bicycle seat neuropathy
is one of the most common injuries reported by cyclists and can
lead to sexual dysfunction. Such dysfunction is proven to occur
twice as often in cyclists as it is in non-cyclists, according to
the results of a study recently published in an article, entitled
"Research Shows Higher Incidence of Erectile Dysfunction in
Cyclists" in Bicycle Retailer & Industry News.
