A woman is behind the invention of Viagra

Viagra, the famous erectile dysfunction drug was
invented under the leadership of Dr Gill Samuels who headed the
research team at Pfizer pharmaceutical
and made the breakthrough in discovering the role of the chemical,
sildenafil citrate,
in the anatomy of male sexual performance. She had a big hand in
the discovery of the chemical.
Later on, other scientists developed a process to produce this chemical
in the form of an oral tablet, under Pfizer's brand name 'Viagra'.
Viagra has proven to be one of the
most effective treatments for erectile
dysfunction (ED). ED is one of the most common forms of sexual
ailment prevalent in men. Viagra is available in most of the
countries for treating
ED.
