Botaniex, Inc. To Develop All-Natural Formula for Erectile Dysfunction;
Botaniex is poised to capture a share of the multi-billion dollar
sexual dysfunction market
June 01, 2005
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 1, 2005--Botaniex,
Inc. (Pink Sheets: BTXI), announced today that it has initiated
the development of an all-natural formula for Erectile
Dysfunction (ED). Botaniex has been approached by several multi-national
dietary supplement companies that have expressed a strong interest
in Botaniex's proposed innovative and all-natural formula for ED.
A majority of herbal supplements currently on the market for ED
fail to effectively deliver satisfactory results to the consumers.
The medically-proven drugs for the treatment of ED include Viagra
and Cialis, which are effective
but raise health and safety concerns for consumers. In addition,
the cost of these drugs is high compared to natural substitutes
and can only be purchased with a prescription. Botaniex's goal is
to develop a formula that is 100% natural, safe, affordable and
as effective as the synthetic drugs for Erectile Dysfunction.
This innovative formula combines herbal and certain
animal-based extracts, which should deliver superior results as
compared to currently available herbal remedies. This formula incorporates
a two centuries-old Chinese folk prescription with highly purified
herbal extracts based on Traditional Chinese Medicine theory. Botaniex
has completed Phase I of the formulation and has conducted informal
clinical trials of the formula. The preliminary results from these
trials have been very favorable and most of the patients have exhibited
a hard and long-lasting erection. In conjunction with several reputable
Research Institutes and hospitals in China, Botaniex will perform
official clinical trials of this formula once it is finalized. Botaniex
expects to complete the development process in approximately three
to five months.
This formula will enable Botaniex to capitalize
on the large and high-growth global sexual dysfunction market. Male
sexual dysfunction includes erectile dysfunction (ED), loss of libido,
premature ejaculation and Peyronie's Disease. These disorders affect
more than 175 million men worldwide over the age of 50. In the US
alone, the sexual dysfunction medication market generated revenues
of approximately $1.91 billion in 2002 and is expected to grow at
a Cumulative Annual Growth Rate (2002-2009) of approximately 25.16
percent.
CEO Melson Liao stated: "With Botaniex's
expertise and alliance with highly-respected Traditional Chinese
Medicine scientists, we are confident that we can develop a formula
for ED that helps men who suffer from this disorder to regain their
confidence and improve the quality of their family life."
