Viagra Safety
It is important to note that Viagra is a prescription
drug and should not be taken without consulting your doctor. Read
the following warnings and precautions for safe use of Viagra for
effective results.
Do not take Viagra if you are taking certain
other drugs as the effects of either could be increased, decreased,
or altered.
- If you use nitrate drugs , often used to control chest pain
(also known as angina), don't take Viagra. Since Viagra also
reduces blood pressure, your blood pressure could suddenly drop
to an unsafe or life-threatening level.
- If you are taking alpha-blocker therapy for the treatment
of high blood pressure or prostate problems, you should not
take a dose of Viagra greater than 25 mg of Viagra at the same
time (within 4 hours) as you take your dose of alpha-blocker.
- If you are taking a protease inhibitor, your dose may be adjusted
by your doctor.
- It should not be used with any other medical treatments that
cause erections.
Warnings : Viagra is inadvisable for men
with the following health conditions
- Patients with a history of cardiovascular disease for whom
sexual activity is inadvisable should not use Viagra. There
is a potential for cardiac risk.
- Patients who have suffered a stroke within last 6 months.
- Men who are currently using medicines that contain nitrates,
such as nitroglycerin should not use Viagra because taken together
they can lower the blood pressure too much.
- Men who have high or low blood pressure.
- Men who have a rare genetic eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa
- Men who have either kidney or liver problems.
- Men who have ever had any blood problems, including sickle
cell anemia or leukemia
- Men who are allergic to sildenafil or any of the other ingredients
of Viagra tablets
- Men who have a deformed penis, Peyronie's disease, or ever
had an erection that lasted more than 4 hours
- Men who have stomach ulcers or any types of bleeding problems
- Men who are taking any other medicines which contain nitrates.
- In rare instances, when an erection that lasts more than 4
hours .If not treated right away, permanent damage to your penis
could occur.
- Viagra should not be used by women or children.

your erectile dysfunction and to find out if you can safely take
